Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the 2Chance web app, phone app or waitlist, run by 2Chance Nigeria Ltd.
Who can use 2Chance
You must be 18 or older. Campus rides are only open to people who verify an email address from a participating institution.
What 2Chance is — and is not
- 2Chance is not an emergency service. In danger, call 112. A panic alert notifies people you chose and our responders; we tell you honestly whether each message was delivered, and we cannot guarantee that anyone will respond.
- Vehicle checks show what our records hold. A clean result is not a guarantee that a vehicle or driver is safe — stay alert.
- Campus rides connect people travelling the same way. 2Chance is not a transport operator and does not provide the vehicle or driver. Fares are agreed between riders; payments recorded in the app are what riders report, not payments 2Chance has processed.
- Background location tracking needs the phone app. On the web, tracking pauses when the trip page is not open.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information, and only add trusted contacts who have agreed to be contacted.
- Report honestly. False reports or panic alerts, harassment, and sharing other people's personal details are not allowed.
- Keep your sign-in codes to yourself.
Community content
You are responsible for what you post. We may remove posts or reports, and suspend accounts, that break these terms or put others at risk.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
Liability
We work hard to keep 2Chance available and accurate, but the service is provided as it is. To the extent Nigerian law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by third parties, network or device failures, or information we could not verify.
